NSL: Modern Coast Rangers appoint new coach

Modern Coast Rangers have appointed Abdul Nasser Kassim as the new head coach ahead of the 208 FKF National Super League season 2018.

Abdul Nasser replaces Abdul Mohammed popularly known as ‘Mohaa’, who was recently acquired by Kenya Premier League newbies Wazito FC.

Confirming the new development, club Secretary Ferdinand Ogot revealed the decision was arrived at after conducting a series of interviews with a number of coaches.

“We wish to confirm that after conducting interviews with various interested coaches and after wider consultation with the club management, we have appointed Abdul Nasser Kassim as the new coach for Modern Coast Rangers.

“We are convinced that Abdul Nasser meets the requisite professional skills and experience for the position and as a club we shall give him all the necessary support to ensure that he delivers.”

Ogot further confirmed that Abdul Nasser will be deputized by Joseph Sihuli aka Yeboa, who was formerly with Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) that features in the top tier of FKF South Coast Provincial League.
