Nandwa elevated as Nicholas Muyoti takes charge at Thika United

Former AFC Leopards and Kenyan international midfielder Nicholas Muyoti is the new Thika United coach.

According to the club's official portal, Muyoti, who served in the same capacity at Oserian FC before deputizing Ezekiel Akwana at Ingwe, will be deputized by Joseph Ruto, who will double up as the goalkeeper trainer.

Former coach James Nandwa has been appointed the new Technical Director as the club restructures to fully comply with Caf club licencing requirements. Muyoti will be in charge when the milkmen take on newcomers Nakumatt at Ruaraka on Wednesday, aiming at bagging maximum points to surge upwards in the league.

Currently, the milk men are in the 17th position with seven points, one more than tailing Western Stima, after two wins, one draw and six defeats.
