Matthews: SuperSport United await Orlando Pirates' bid for Wome

SuperSport United have stated that they are open to selling Dove Wome to Orlando Pirates.

The Togo international joined Pirates from SuperSport United on a short-term loan deal midway through the 2016/17 campaign.

Wome managed to establish himself as one of Bucs' key players as they reached the 2017 Nedbank Cup final where they lost to SuperSport.

Stanley Matthews, the SuperSport chief executive officer, has indicated that they will listen to offers for the 26-year-old attacker.

"We were able to loan him out, so I don’t see why we can’t sell him," Matthews told Daily Sun.

"We are willing to listen to offers. If Pirates want him on a permanent basis we will sell him to them," he concluded.

Wome has already indicated that he would like to join the Buccaneers on a permanent deal following his successful loan stint at the club.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns player made 16 appearances in all competitions for Bucs - netting four goals in the process.
