John Ogu keen to repay Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s trust

Nigeria international John Ogu has promised to pay back Hapoel Be’er Sheva for their helping him settle down in the European country.

The midfielder has been a hit for Barak Bakhar’s men since joining the Turner’s Stadium in 2014 – and was in awe-inspiring form to help the Camels win the Israeli topflight title last season.

Moved by his booming in Israel, the 29-year-old took to social media to appreciate the team and all those who had contributed positively to his career.

He also took time to appreciate stakeholders in the league, while wishing country’s representatives in European football all the best.

''Maximum respect to all the teams in Israeli league, players, referees, coaches, fans and so on. God bless everyone for their efforts,'' Ogu tweeted.

''And also not to forget the media guys in Israeli football. Big ups to you all. Let keep promoting the league to the top.

''Good luck to all the teams in Israeli league representing the country in Europe this year. I believe we all can make history for the country.

''And to all the Hapoel Beer sheva fans. I love you all and I will keep fighting for you guys . I will always pay you back the trust and love.
