Jeremy Brockie set to depart SuperSport United for Mamelodi Sundowns

SuperSport United striker Jeremy Brockie looks set to leave the club sooner rather than later, with his next home reportedly confirmed.

The marksman has been heavily linked with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, with the latter the favourites to land him as they tried to sign him at the start of the season.

It’s said that they have been given permission to speak to him to conclude a deal with the player who handed in a transfer request at the start of the current campaign, which was rejected.

SuperSport coach Eric Tinkler admits he is unsure of the New Zealander’s future after his dismal performances in recent matches, his latest in their 2-0 PSL defeat at the hands of Bidvest Wits on Wednesday.

“Right now, Brockie is still with us…Well, I don’t know. Is he still with us? I don’t know…Ask him,” Tinkler said after the game.

It’s said that the Brazilians are looking to push the deal to go through this weekend with the aim to have Brockie registered for their 2018 Caf Champions League campaign before Monday’s deadline.
