Hearts of Oak star Razak draws praise from club chief Noonan

Hearts of Oak general manager Mark Noonan has praised midfielder Patrick Razak following an improved performance in the Ghana Premier League new campaign.

The 28-year-old has proved to be the Phobians' poster boy this season, after scoring several match winners, including the goal that won them the Super Clash against Asante Kotoko last weekend.

“Patrick Razak is a superb quality and game changer. He can make the difference on any day for us whenever we are in need,” Noonan Fox FM.

"We're delighted with his performance and hope he will continue throughout the season. I also wish that others will do their best to see the club achieving its aims," he added.

However, Noonan was tight-lipped on the midfielder’s future following reports that two unnamed US-based sides have enquired about the player.

“We as a club do not do our business in the media. All that I will say [about Razak's future] is that we are working on all the contracts that we need and official communiqué will be issued very soon,” he said.

Hearts will welcome city rivals Liberty Professionals to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
