Hearts coach Nuttall disappointed after home defeat to AshGold

Hearts of Oak's title ambition was dealt a big blow after they were stunned 1-0 by Ashanti Gold in Ghana Premier League matchday 20 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Midfielder Daniel Gozar connected a pass from his teammate to give visitors the priceless three points to achieve four-game unbeaten run in the month of June under new manager C.K Akunnor.

Although, Hearts coach Frank Elliott Nuttall admits he is disappointed with the scoreline, he insists they will recover on time.

''In the game of football, what's possible? A win, a loss or a draw. One of these can happen or game is abandoned," Nuttall said.

"So am I surprised, am I shocked? These things happen. It's a football game.

"We’re disappointed not to get the three points but with the fighting spirit that we have in our group, despite the negative people around, we will keep fighting and return to winning ways,” he added.

Hearts sit third on the log with 33 points and will shift attention to the President Cup next weekend against rivals Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
