Harambee Stars, Sierra Leone match officials named

Nigeria officials will oversee Harambee Stars 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier match against hosts Sierra Leone set for June 10, at the Siaka Stevens Stadium, in Freetown.

The Confederation of African football has picked Ferdinand Udoh to take charge of the match as the centre referee. Udoh will be assisted by compatriots Tejiri Digbori (First assistant), Abdulmajeed Olaide (Second Assistant Referee) and Benjamin Ekabatiem Ekabatiem Odey (Reserve Referee).

The Stars will be aiming to get their campaign off to a flying start in order to stand a healthy chance of gracing the 2019 showpiece. The Stars jet out for the West African nation on Thursday ahead of the weekend clash.

Meanwhile, the team intensified training at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Monday as coach Stanley Okumbi aims to polish the grey areas ahead of this pivotal clash.
