The Super Falcons, the most successful nation in the history of the tournament with eight titles, on the other hand, will battle against three-time finalists South Africa, Kenya and Zambia in Group B.

While Ghana will open their campaign against Algeria at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 17, Nigeria will begin their quest for a ninth title with a big encounter against South Africa at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Mali and Zambia will lock horns with Cameroon and Kenya respectively to round up matchday one's action.

Ghana 2018 will be the 11th edition of the Africa Women Cup of Nations.

The top three teams at the end of the event qualify for the 2019 Fifa Women's World Cup to hold in France.

Nigeria are not only the tournament's most successful team but the reigning champions, having beaten Cameroon in a thrilling final in 2016.
