Karim Benzema took in Real Madrid’s Champions League celebrations with New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony.
The Frenchman helped the Blancos to make history in Cardiff on Saturday by successfully defending European football’s biggest prize.
Juventus proved no match for Zinedine Zidane’s side as they swept to a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired 4-1 win.
There were plenty of photo opportunities to be had after the success, with Benzema joined on the field by the leading performer in the NBA.
Anthony was in Cardiff after failing to inspire the Knicks to the NBA Finals – which are currently being contested between Steph Curry’s Golden State Warriors and Lebron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 33-year-old is a passionate football fan and owns Puerto Rico FC in the North American Soccer League.
He is unlikely to have players of Benzema’s calibre on his books any time soon, but does have ambitious plans for the future.
Madrid, meanwhile, can now take in a well-deserved summer break before seeking to defend their La Liga and Champions League crowns in 2017-18.
