After two successful friendlies in Australia, Arsenal head to China to continue their pre-season preparations by competing in the International Champions Cup. The Gunners earned two victories in Sydney last week, beating Sydney FC 2-0 before overcoming Western Sydney Warriors by a 3-1 scoreline.
The games saw big money summer signing Alexandre Lacazaette enjoy his first minutes for Arsene Wenger's side, with the Frenchman netting on his debut. The challenge for the Premier League outfit will be considerably greater when they face Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich on Wednesday, with the Germans boasting a big name signing of their own.

While the Bavarians reportedly had Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez at the top of their transfer wishlist, Bayern had to make do instead with signing James Rodriguez from Real Madrid.
The Colombian has previously worked with Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti in the Spanish capital and will no doubt will looking forward to lining up against his brother-in-law David Ospina, when his new club face Arsenal. Rodriguez was not involved when Bayern recorded their now infamous 10-2 aggregate win in the Champions League earlier this year and the Gunners will surely be looking for some kind of revenge.
