AFC Leopards coach speaks highly of team preps

AFC Leopards head coach Stewart Hall has expressed confidence in his team asserting that they are in the right direction.

The Big Cats have played three friendly matches in preseason preparations; two outside Nairobi and one in the city. They beat Embu County combined team 3-0 and Tetu combined team 5-0 last week before registering another win against Kibera Black Stars (2-1) early this week.

Hall has defended his choice of the matches explaining that his team requires low profile opponents too in order to gel and stay fit ahead of the season kick-off.

“Part of preseason training involves playing against teams that are at your level and others that may be below your level. We have been lucky to have a few of those games but we need more because the more the players stay together the better they become so everyone will get a chance to play because we are yet to select the first team,” he told the league’s official website.
