If not for Tech’s blowout wins cutting short his snaps, Morton might already be in double digits for passing touchdowns this season.
In the rout of Kent State, Morton completed 18-of-26 passes for 258 yards, three scores, and no turnovers. Adam Hill added balance with 127 rushing yards on 16 carries, averaging nearly eight yards per touch, while Coy Eakin chipped in with three grabs for 59 yards, including a 19.7-yard average and a touchdown. With the Red Raiders boasting the second-ranked scoring offense in the country, expect Morton to stay aggressive from the opening whistle.

Quarterback Maalik Murphy lit up the stat sheet against Fresno State, throwing for 371 yards on 31-of-48 passing with four touchdowns, though he was also picked off twice. On the ground, Anthony Hankerson carried the load with 25 rushes for 136 yards, averaging 5.4 per carry, while Tastean Reddicks was Murphy’s go-to target, hauling in 11 catches for 158 yards at 14.4 yards a grab.
