U.S. national team midfielder Christian Pulisic scored an impressive 89th-minute winner in Borussia Dortmund's 2-1 victory over Hoffenheim on Saturday.
Mark Uth netted a 21st-minute opener for Hoffenheim before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang drew Dortmund level with a penalty midway through the second half.
And it was Pulisic who secured a second straight win for BVB under new manager Peter Stoger, as the 19-year-old collected a through ball from Neven Subotic, took a deft touch over goalkeeper Oliver Baumann and slotted into an empty net.
It was the third goal of the season for Pulisic, who has made 22 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund.
BVB now travels to face Bayern Munich in the DFB-Pokal third round on Wednesday before entering the winter break, with Dortmund not resuming Bundesliga action until a match against Wolfsburg on Jan. 14.
