Tammy Abraham charged up for Swansea City

Swansea City's Tammy Abraham is eager to impress in the English Premier League this season having secured a loan move from Chelsea.

Last season, the British-Nigerian was on loan at Bristol City where he scored 23 times in 41 appearances to cap a beautiful outing in the English Championship.

Now, the 19-year-old is looking to grab the headlines with the Swans in the English top-flight after he scored on his debut in a win over Richmond Kickers.

“I would love to build on last season and do it at the top level,” Abraham told club website.

“Everyone has seen me do it in the Championship, but I’d love to do it in the Premier League.

“People will be surprised because I’m so tall but I do have quick feet and I have good pace to threaten defenders. Although I am tall I also like have the ball played into my feet.

“I can hold up play too, so it will be good to show my overall game with Swansea and not just scoring goals.

“When the gaffer came round to my house he described what he wants from this season. It fits my style of play as well.

“It is a nice play to get your head down and really focus on your game. That’s what I want to do this season.”
