Stephane Bahoken vows to ‘be as efficient as possible’ after joining Angers

Stephane Bahoken has vowed to ‘be as efficient as possible’ after he completed a move to Angers.

The 26-year-old attacker joined the Stade Raymond Kopa outfit as a free agent on a four-year deal after leaving Strasbourg.

Last season, the Cameroon international scored seven goals in 26 league appearances to help Thierry Laurey’s men remain in the French Ligue 1.

And the former Nice player, who aims to continue ‘learning’ process with Stephane Moulin’s side, has promised to give his best for the club.

"I'm still learning and I wanted to continue my progression, Angers top officials believe I will get a chance to do it here," Bahoken told the club website.

"I will push myself to the maximum, give all that I have to the club and be as efficient as possible."

Bahoken will be a direct replacement for his compatriot Karl Toko Ekambi following his departure to Spanish outfit Villarreal.
