Bangkok Glass FC

Francisco 'Kiko' Insa Bohigues sat on the bench as he watch his new side lose their opening game of the Thai T1 League to Nakhon Ratchasima. The 1-0 reverse suffered away from home came courtesy of the goal scored by Ekkachai Rittiphan in the 80th minute.

Coincidentally, former Perak and Selangor striker Paulo Rangel started for Nakhon. It doesn't get any easier for Bangkok Glass as they face another tough away trip next, this time to reigning league champions Buriram United this Sunday.

Vilaverdense FC

Neither Syamer Kutty Abba nor Dominic Tan saw any action as their club bounced back from the previous defeat to Vizela, to record a comfortable 3-1 win over Aroes in Match Day 20 of the Campeonato de Portugal.

The win keeps Vilaverdense in third spot in the league and they will next host SC Mirandela on Sunday. There's 12 more league matches to go for Vilaverdense who must bridge the nine points gap to league leaders Vizela, if they are to go into the promotional play-off spot.
