That’s exactly what one fan did when he went to TGI Fridays on Sunday evening and saw striker Leigh Griffiths – but he probably didn’t expect a reply!
The Twitter user took a selfie when he noticed the 26-year-old was sitting behind him, circling the forward and Tweeting: “@Leighgriff09 joining me an the bird for a TGI's #goals”
Griffiths, who has found himself behind Moussa Dembele in the pecking order in Brendan Rodgers’ side in recent times, offered a brilliant reply in kind, performing the same cheeky stunt.
The Edinburgh-born striker has scored eight times in the Scottish Premiership this season for the runaway leaders and also netted an impressive five goals in six Champions League qualification games as they reached the group stage.
