Muang Thong have had previous experience of playing in the group stage, including in last season's competition. While JDT are eyeing their first ever appearance in Asia's elite cup competition.
The vital clash between the clubs from the two neigbouring Southeast Asian countries will take place the SCG Stadium in Nonthaburi, Thailand on January 23.
