Gor Mahia midfielder praises Kenyan football

Gor Mahia's new acquisition Jean-Baptiste Mugiraneza says he will give his best for the team and help it reclaim the league title.

The Rwandese was signed on a free transfer from Tanzanian club Azam on a reported two year contract. He says he is impressed with the Kenyan game and he looks forward to have a better season.

"I already feel at home here, many of my friends play for this team and contributed to my coming to this team. Yes I want to help Gor Mahia win the league this season and help it achieve more.

"In Tanzania, it is about being physical, the approach is direct and the players tend to be more physical. I have seen players in Kenyan Premier League play a beautiful game that appeals to the fans. It has taken me sometime to adapt to the new playing system but finally it is paying."

The attacking midfielder was on target as the former champions defeated Kariobangi Sharks 3-1 on Sunday.
