Ex-KCCA star Mathew Odongo handed Tusker start

Edwin Lavatsa will start from the bench alongside Peter Nzuki, who was signed from Nakumatt

Tusker FC new signing Mathew Odongo has been handed his first high-profile match against former club KCCA.

Odongo joined Tusker from the Ugandan champions in the January transfer window and he is set to face his former side in the tie at Ruaraka grounds on Monday.

Coach Sam Timbe has also handed former Gor Mahia forward, Timothy Otieno, as well as Robert Odongo, who was signed from Western Stima starting roles.

Former Gor Mahia forward, Edwin Lavatsa, who was signed from Bandari, will start from the bench alongside Peter Nzuki, who joined from Nakumatt FC.

Tusker starting XI: Duncan Ochieng, Collins Shivachi, Eric Ambunya, Eugene Asike, Justus Omary, A. Otieno, Mathew Odongo, Boniface Muchiri, Timothy Otieno, Robert Achema and Jackson Macharia.

Reserves: Michael Khamati, Hashim Sempala, David Okello, David Mwangi. Edwin Lavatsa and Peter Nzuki.
