Crocked Masoud Juma still waiting for Absa Premier League debut

Kenyan International Masoud Juma’s much-awaited debut in the South African Premier League will have to wait a little longer.

Masoud is currently nursing an injury that may delay his Absa Premier League debut with Cape Town City FC.

The 2017 Kenyan Premier League Golden Boot winner joined Cape Town City FC last January from Kariobangi Sharks.

But the 2017 KPL top scorer with 17 goals is yet to recover fully from an injury sustained during the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup with Harambee Stars last December.

Masoud could not help but watch from a distance as his new side suffered a painful 1-0 defeat in the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns on Friday.

“Masud Juma have made huge strides in their rehab but still remain on the injury list,” Cape Town City FC confirmed.

Khama Billiat scored the lone goal for Sundowns from a counter-attack to hand the visitors maximum points despite Cape Town dominating the proceedings.

Former AFC Leopards, Allan Katerega who joined the side last month also missed Sundowns' lose as he’s still adapting to the South African football.
