Castro praises Chelsea players after Bolga victory

Berekum Chelsea manager Sardonic Castro has praised his players after their 4-0 victory over relegation-threatened Bolga All Stars in Ghana Premier League matchday 24 in Tamale on Sunday.

A brace from Evans Obeng and another strike from Stephen Sarfo and Abedi Karim gave the Blues a first away victory since March 2013.

"Great performance from my players and I'm really excited," Castro told Goal.

"We need to maintain this kind of performance to be able to push up and finish within the top four. Before this game, we had played 31 away games without a win and it was really terrible because we had lost 21 times and conceded 47 goals.

"I will have to praise the players for the win and the clean sheet and hope for the best until the season ends. Our next game is against Elmina Sharks who have won their last three games so we need to maintain our form to end their winning streak at the Golden City Park on Sunday," he added.

Chelsea have moved four places up to sixth position with 33 points while Bolga are bottom on the log with only 12 points.
