Caf Champions League: AS Real Bamako VS MFM, Bidvest Wits VS Pamplemousses

The Olukoya Boys face a difficult task in the form of the Malian giants, while Gavin Hunt’s men host the Mauritians

Nigeria’s MFM FC have been drawn against AS Bamako in the preliminary round of the 2018 Caf Champions League, while Bidvest must overcome Pamplemousses if they are to win the title.

The draw, which took place at Caf headquarters on Wednesday, also paired Plateau United with Cameroon’s Eding Sport and Al-Tahaddy and Aduana Stars.

Espérance de Tunis must travel to Mauritania after being drawn against ASAC Concorde, while AC Léopards face AS Togo-Port.

Olympic Real de Bangui, meanwhile, face a daunting task after they were handed a tie against ES Sétif. Gor Mahia will take on Equatorial Guinea giants Leones Vegetarianos.

Caf Champions League preliminary games are provisionally scheduled to take place in February 2018.

The first legs will be contested from February 9-11 and the second legs will be played on February 16-18.

Reigning champions Wydad Casablanca have been drawn bye till the First Round where they face either Stade Malien or Williamsville AC.

Mamelodi Sundowns , Al Ahly, Étoile du Sahel and TP Mazembe are other teams that will play their first game of the championship in the First Round.
