Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva helped the Premier League champions obliterate Cardiff City with a wondrous playmaking performance on Saturday.

The Portuguese international ran the newly-promoted side ragged in south Wales, scoring once and providing countless opportunities for his team-mates as the Citizens wrapped up a classy 5-0 victory.

Joining Silva in the Team of the Week is his Manchester City team-mate Ilkay Gundogan, who ensured a comfortable afternoon for Pep Guardiola's side with a dominant midfield display.

The Germany international's intelligent movement and third-man runs proved to be too much for Cardiff to handle, and his well-taken goal and assist earned him a sizable score of 92.

Burnley's Aaron Lennon was also in fine form on Saturday as he helped the Clarets earn their first win of the Premier League season against Bournemouth, whose strong start to the new season was stopped dead in its tracks.

The former Tottenham and Everton star constantly stretched Bournemouth's troubled backline with his searing pace and incisive dribbling, and he rounded off a fine display with a goal and an assist to help Sean Dyche's side seal a 4-0 win and earn a strong score of 92.
