AFC Leopards player training with Italian giants Juventus

AFC Leopards youthful midfielder Richard Odada might land a life-changing opportunity in Italy should he sign for Juventus youth team.

Odada is among the list of players being monitored at the Juventus Sports Center to reinforce the youth team and the future Kenyan star already has one foot into the team after he impressed in a friendly match against Legia Warsaw.

Odada displayed his football skills after he was introduced as a second-half substitute in the Ale & Ricky Camp friendly played last Wednesday.

Odada may earn a permanent deal in the coming weeks, though he will have to work on his pace if he’s to attract the attention of the scouts according to local media reports back in Italy.

“He played in front of the defense, showing a good technique but also a bit 'of slowness and lucked the rhythm required in the game," according to footballscouting.it

Odada was part of the Kenya national U-20 team that played in the last Africa Cup qualifiers. He has also featured in the KPL U-20 youth championship with the Leopards junior team before moving to Europe in search of a profesional contract.

Before landing in Italy, Odada had previously tried out in Serbia & Switzerland.
