Since losing the El Clásico tie against Barcelona back in May, Real Madrid will be eyeing their seventh consecutive La Liga victory when they welcome Espanyol to the Bernabeu on Saturday.
This term, with 12 points from four matches, Xabi Alonso's side have a two-point lead atop the La Liga standings table.
While Los Blancos defeated Real Sociedad 2-1 in their previous league game, third-placed Espanyol are also unbeaten after last picking up a 3-2 victory over Mallorca.
