Captain Martin Odegaard made a significant return after recovering from a shoulder injury, coming off the bench to assist Gabriel's winner in the league game against Newcastle United over the weekend.

Kai Havertz, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Jesus are not expected to return from their knee injuries before winter, while Piero Hincapie is dealing with a groin problem.

William Saliba is likely to start ahead of Cristhian Mosquera on Wednesday.  

Olympiacos team news

Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk remains sidelined with a muscle injury, while midfielder Lorenzo Scipioni is nursing a knee problem.

Remy Cabella and Yusuf Yazici were not included in Olympiacos' league-phase squad.

Chiquinho is expected to retain his place in the number 10 role, with Daniel Podence expected to start on the left side.
