    She revealed that Rooney got a tattoo of her name on his arm when he was 17 years old, but also said that his cousin had to call to ask how to spell her name beforehand. The player then showed it off at a friend's 18th party. Coleen added: "He’d got my name tattooed on him! At 17!”

    The 38-year-old also admitted that she was embarrassed by her future husband, despite his rocket to fame as a 16-year-old star for Everton.

    "I was still at school when he was playing for Everton," she said. "I used to walk out and all the girls were going: ‘Whose is that car there?’ And he was in a Bentley... and there’s Wayne in the passenger seat with his arm out and one of the [other] players like Thomas Gravesen."

    She added: "I just used to get embarrassed”.
