    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Klopp's decision to take the Red Bull job has already been met with criticism by angry fans and even some former players. His visit to Brazil also did not go unnoticed by Palmeiras boss Abel Ferreria, who poked fun at the former Liverpool man after the draw between the two sides at Allianz Parque.

  • WHAT PALMEIRAS BOSS SAID

Abel Ferreira told a post-match press conference: "Today there was a gentleman here called Klopp, who won fewer titles in eight years at Liverpool than my coaching staff here at Palmeiras. So don’t come and talk to me about being hungry for titles."

The German has ruled out ever managing one of Red Bull's teams in the future, such as RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, RB Bragantino or Paris FC, but admitted recently he's not ruling out a return to management completely.
