Lionel Messi reunion at Como? Antonela Rocuzzo sends message to ex-Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas’ wife Daniella Semaan

Eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi spent time in Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy system alongside former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Fabregas. They were reunited as senior stars at Camp Nou for three seasons between 2011 and 2014 – winning La Liga and the FIFA Club World Cup together.

The Messi and Fabregas families have remained close ever since, with Antonela making the most of any opportunity to meet up with Daniella. She is surrounded by familiar faces in the United States at present, with Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba having joined Messi at MLS side Inter Miami.

The Argentine icon is into the final year of his contract with the Herons, although an extension option for 2026 may yet be triggered which could include the option of a loan in Europe. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Messi and whether he will represent another team at club level.

Como boast big ambition, on the back of their rise into Serie A, but are unlikely to have the funds required to land Messi. He could, however, be a visitor to Lombardy at some stage – allowing him to watch Fabregas in action as a coach and Antonela to catch up with Daniella on the back of her “love you and miss you” social media post.
