  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The Dash have splashed the cash, signing the 20-year-old defender in stunning fashion. The 11th signing of the 2024 campaign for Houston, General Manager Alex Singer has completely revamped her squad - including the transfer of star player Maria Sanchez to the San Diego Wave.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    The central defender has climbed the ranks with the Brazil national team in 2024, making both the CONCACAF W Gold Cup and SheBelievesCup rosters. She appeared in five out of eight matches for the Canarinha, leading them to a second and third place finish each respective tournament. Tarciane was ranked the 14th best wonderkid in women's soccer in 2022 by GOAL'S NXGN.

    “I'm very happy to play in Houston, I am motivated and prepared for this new challenge in my career,” Tarciane said. “Playing in the NWSL is a dream come true. This is one of the best leagues in the world plus a country with so much tradition in women's soccer. It's such a fantastic opportunity and I'll do my best to represent this club on-and-off the field.”
