Douglas Luiz all smiles as girlfriend & fellow Aston Villa star Alisha Lehmann joins him pitchside after thrilling Premier League draw with Liverpool

The Villans headed into that contest knowing that victory would wrap up a top-four finish and Champions League qualification. They were unable to get over that line, but displayed commendable battling qualities in a six-goal encounter that has them five points clear of Tottenham – with the north London outfit having two games left to take in.

Lehmann was among those in attendance at Villa Park, as the Switzerland international hoped to see boyfriend Luiz secure a seat at European football’s top table for 2024-25. She was spotted waving flags prior to kick-off, before heading down to the field at the final whistle.

With Villa taking in their last home game of the current campaign, they were joined on the pitch by friends and family for a lap of honour. Luiz – who was replaced late on against Liverpool before the Villans saw Jhon Duran net a dramatic brace to snatch a share of the points – was all smiles as he wandered around with Lehmann.

Luiz and Lehmann have one more fixture to take in with their respective teams at Villa this season. Unai Emery’s men’s side finish with a trip to Crystal Palace on Sunday, while the women face WSL title hopefuls Manchester City in the West Midlands on Saturday.
