FA Cup Overview

Manchester United academy prospect JJ Gabriel has made his preference for Real Madrid over arch-rivals Barcelona clear while targeting a future Ballon d'Or triumph. The 16-year-old English talent is already completing individual training sessions in the Spanish capital as Los Blancos work to finalise his switch to their Castilla reserve side.

Barcelona are once again walking a financial tightrope as the January transfer window approaches, with the club desperate to bolster Hansi Flick's defensive options. Despite a strong start to the season, injuries and a lack of depth at centre-back have forced sporting director Deco to search for creative solutions in the market.

Real Madrid's commercial standing in the Far East remains in a state of paralysis as Chinese broadcasters refuse to restore coverage of the Spanish giants. Despite high-level apologies from the club and Kylian Mbappe himself, the fallout from the Frenchman's controversial social media appearance shows no signs of abating.

Jose Mourinho insists he is not worried by the upcoming international break despite Real Madrid prepare to face Valencia in Liga. The Portuguese manager is instead fully focused on the threat posed by a fresh and determined Valencia side at Mestalla.
