UEFA Europa League Matchday three: Highlights

Here are the highlights as the big teams got into the thick of things in the UEFA Europa League....

Several big teams were in action in Europe on Thursday as matchday three of the UEFA Europa League came to a conclusion. There were wins for Chelsea, Arsenal, Sevilla and the likes. 

Here are the highlights from them:

1) Chelsea 3-1 BATE:  Ruben Loftus-Cheek provided a timely reminder of his quality with a fine hat-trick in just his second start of the season as Chelsea sealed a comprehensive 3-1 win over BATE in the Europa League.

2) Sporting CP 0-1 Arsenal:  Danny Welbeck scored a second-half winner to give Arsenal a 1-0 victory away to Sporting CP in the Europa League on Thursday.

3) Marseille 1-3 Lazio:  Wallace and Felipe Caicedo led Lazio to a morale-boosting win over Ligue 1 outfit Marseille

4) AC Milan 1-2 Real Betis:  Real Betis piled more pressure on Gennaro Gattuso as AC Milan surrendered top spot in Group F in a listless 2-1 home loss in the Europa League.

5) RB Leipzig 2-0 Celtic:  Celtic's chances of reaching the Europa League knockout stages took a further hit on Thursday as they were beaten 2-0 by RB Leipzig.

6) Sevilla 6-0 Akhisarspor:  Sevilla hit Akhisarspor for six goals as they ran riot at home against their Turkish champions.
