POLL: Who is the best Ligue 1 player?

Following his switch to PSG from AS Monaco in the summer, Kylian Mbappe has not shown any signs of slowing down in the capital with a plethora of impressive performances alongside Edinson Cavani and Neymar. With nine goals and assists to his name in just 15 games, the forward is proving he is by no means a one season wonder.

Monaco may be floundering in their title challenge, but Fabinho has been a star performer for the side from the Principality this term. The midfielder’s  ability to control a game from midfield has been a bright spark in an otherwise underwhelming season for Leonardo Jardim's side that has them currently sat in fourth place.

Olympique Marseille may have narrowly missed out on a UEFA Champions League spot with a fifth-placed finish last season, they have found themselves in contention to secure an automatic spot this term. Florian Thauvin has been a major catalyst in the Olympians' surge to make Europe's premier club competition, scoring 10 times and supplying eight assists. Also, the winger has won eight man of the match awards (joint-second with Neymar) and will be needed in top form if Rudi Garcia's side are to feature in next season's Champions League.

Perhaps the least acclaimed of PSG's deadly forward's, Edinson Cavani has had an impressive season for the Parisians, scoring 20 goals (a league high) and supplying three assists from 21 appearances. The Uruguay international's goals have been important for Emery's side in an attempt to wrestle the title back from Monaco. With an eight-point lead over Olympique Lyon, there seems to be no stopping the Red and Blues.

Nabil Fekir has been cream of the crop for Lyon this season, churning out magnificent performances for the Kids as they seek an automatic Champions League spot. The attacking midfielder has scored 16 times in the league (only bettered by Cavani) and supplied five assists from just 19 games. With 11 man of the match awards for OL (more than any other player in the division), he's been nothing but a gem for Bruno Génésio's side who sit in second place with 48 points.

Neymar, the world's most expensive player has definitely proved his worth since his arrival in the capital from F.C. Barcelona. With 15 goals and 11 assists to his name in 15 appearances, PSG have definitely seen their game step-up a level since the Brazilian's signing. The forward has graced the French top flight with his passing, vision, and all-round technique. He's also formed a formidable partnership with Mbappe and Cavani, showing he can carry the burden of the side whilst being a team player.
