NSL: Vihiga United win to move top as KCB clawed

Eight goals were scored on Wednesday during National Super League matches played across the country.

Vihiga United continued with their quest for promotion after downing struggling Nakuru-based St Josephs 2-0 at Afraha Stadium. Patrick Okulo and Kevin Mugone scored the goals that took Edward Manoah's team on top of the table with 30 points, two ahead of second placed Wazito.

In another top of the table clash, KCB suffered the wrath of rejuvenated Nairobi Stima after falling 2-0 at Cray Fish, Naivasha. The hosts scored through Victor Omune and John Kang'ethe to send his team to the top three. Administration Police was defeated 3-1 by Kibera Black Stars as Mosca held hosts GFE to a barren draw.

Top five positions are held by Vihiga United, Wazito FC, Nairobi Stima, Ushuru FC and KCB respectively.
