Ahead of what is set to be a thrilling round of games, we have picked out three bets worth considering for the action in the USA.

Colorado Rapids vs Vancouver Whitecaps – Colorado to win the second half at 6/4 (2.50)

This match is the first of the weekend, kicking off on Friday night, and sees MLS’ two worst clubs face off as Vancouver head south to DSG Park in Colorado.

The Rapids are yet to win a match this season, losing seven of their nine outings, which comes largely down to their first half performance. No side has trailed more after 45 minutes than Colorado, who have done so six times.

They generally turn things around after the break, though, winning the second half on two of their four home matches this term whilst Vancouver have failed to win any second periods both home and away.

Los Angeles FC vs Chicago Fire – LAFC/LAFC Half-time/Full-time at Evens (2.0)

As previously stated, LAFC are absolutely flying this season with five wins from five in front of their own fans and should be able to extend that record when struggling Chicago visit.

Fire have not scored in either of their last two away games and look set to struggle at the Banc of California Stadium, where Bob Bradley’s men have netted 14 times and concede just three.

Backing LAFC to lead at the break and then win the game looks solid considering they have been ahead at half-time in three of their five home games so far, and won the second-half on all five occasions.

Sporting Kansas City vs Atlanta United – SKC to win at Evens (2.0)

Sunday night’s fixture looks to be the best value of them all. Sporting Kansas are unbeaten at home in regular MLS play since July 2018, one of just two games they lost at Children’s Mercy Park last term.

Last season’s Western Conference champions have started this season in a similar vein with two wins and two draws, the most recent of which saw them fight back from 3-1 down to tie New England Revolution 4-4.

Atlanta actually had the best away record of any MLS team last season, bagging 10 wins in 17 fixtures, but the departure of Miguel Almiron is a big reason as to why they have only won two games this campaign.
