Masandawana have already confirmed the departure of Leonardo Castro and with so much uncertainty surrounding the futures of many of their key players, the 53-year-old has said that two or three others could follow suit as the club look to rid themselves of any deadwood in preparation for next year’s Caf Champions League.
"We will lose two or three I think and we will bring in three or four,” Mosimane said in his post-match interview with SuperSport TV following Sundowns 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City which brought an end to their four-match winning streak.
“You have to understand that for us in January it's preparation for the Caf Champions League that starts in February. We need three or four quality players that should take the product a little bit up. We kept a few guys because of the Champions League and we knew that in December we’ll have to shed them," Mosimane added.
"We are uncertain with others like Khama (Billiat) , I think is the only one we are uncertain with,” Mosimane explained.
“But the rest of the guys will stay. Mabunda will stay, Themba Zwane has renewed his contract, it's just that we don't want to talk about it. Mabunda has renewed, Bangaly [Soumahoro] will renew tomorrow I think. So, they don’t want to go,” he revealed.

Regarding the Billiat issue though, Mosimane has likened the saga to that of the Arsenal duo of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil who are yet to commit their futures to the club, but the former Bafana Bafana mentor does state that the door is open for the Zimbabwe international if he chooses to stay at Chloorkop.
Khama (Billiat) is a story of (Mesut) Ozil, it’s the story of (Alexis) Sanchez. It is the way it is. We are open about it, we want him to stay, we want him to renew, but it's all up to him and he's not playing as well,” Mosimane said.
“How many games has he played this year, four-five? Hopefully he stays, we'd love him to stay. But if he decides to go, it's up to him.
"He's got the power. When you're in a contract it's like that. You've got the power but we had to release Leo (Castro) to go play. The ‘CBD’ is gone, I have to start another one," he concluded.
