Kaizer Chiefs to keep Emmanuel Letlotlo

The 21-year-old is expected to stay at Naturena for the foreseeable future after receiving the backing of Amakhosi chairman Kaizer Motaung

Goal has gathered that Emmanuel Letlotlo will remain at Kaizer Chiefs for the 2017/18 PSL season.

There were reports that Letlotlo could be loaned out for the upcoming campaign as he was not getting enough game time at Chiefs. 

However, a source within the Amakhosi camp disclosed to Goal that the club has decided to hold on to him. 

"He's staying put. None of the younger players will be leaving the club. The chairman (Kaizer Motaung) wants to them to stay," the source told Goal

Letlotlo was promoted from the club's youth structures at the beginning of last season after showing great potential in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge. 

And while he found the going tough in his first season as a professional footballer, a long-term injury saw him miss the better part of the previuous term. 

He was reduced to a mere six appearances in all competitions without scoring a goal.
