Fatty names Hawks squad for Akwa United's Caf Confederation Cup clash

Hawks head coach Ansumana Fatty on Wednesday announced his 18-man squad for the Caf Confederation Cup preliminary round, first leg clash with Akwa United in Uyo.

Goalkeeper Yankuba Colley made the squad alongside Alfusainey Gassama, Omar Sarr and Bakary Jarju, who won the Gambian Football Cup competition last year.

Team's delegation is made up of 28-member headed by club secretary Sadibou Kamaso alongside Gambia Football Federation representative Ndongo Camara plus the 18-player.

Other officials are team manager Kebba Njie, assistant coach Alieu Jagne, Malick Gassama, trainer Dawda Jammeh, physio Sulayman Tambedou, media officer Mbye Camara.

Hawks left Banjul on the morning Wednesday, February 7 to Uyo, where they will face Abdu Maikaba's men in the second-tier continental clash on Sunday, February 11.

They will return home on February 13 to host Akwa United in the return leg scheduled for Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
