New date for 2017 DStv Super Cup match

A new date has been set for the 2017 DStv Super Cup match pitting Gor Mahia and KPL defending champions Tusker.

Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has confirmed to Goal that the match will be played on Saturday, February 25, ten days before league kick-off.

“We will play the DStv Super Cup on 25th because we think the league will start on March 5. We should have released the exact fixtures for the season but we are still waiting for the court case over Muhoroni Youth, Sofapaka, KCB and Vihiga United.”

The DStv Super Cup match, which will be the 10th edition of the competition, was initially set for January 29 at Kasarani stadium, but was postponed.
