Djuma: Niyonzima must work hard to return to first team

Simba assistant coach, Masoud Djuma has warned Haruna Niyonzima to make a strong return if he wants to regain his place in the starting line-up.

The playmaker has been sidelined due to a knee injury he sustained in November last year.

Speaking to Goal, Djuma said that Niyonzima is one of the best player in Simba's squad but there is no player who is guaranteed a starting spot without putting in effort.

“We have a lot of players in our squad who can play in any match, so if anybody wants to be in the starting line-up he must put in effort,” said Djuma.

The former Yanga player is close to making a return after stepping up his recovery.
