Cecafa secretary general: Zimbabwe can go to hell!

Cecafa Secretary General Nicholas Musonye has blasted Zimbabwe for pulling out of this year’s competition citing lack of security.

The Central African nation was invited alongside Libya to the competition that kicks-off this weekend with Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos and Bukhungu the main venues. In an interview with a local television, Musonye says the Warrior's absence will not be felt.

"Why are they pulling out? Because of security? They can go to hell, as a matter of fact they are not even our members, and their absence will not be felt. They are talking about security while they even do not know who their president is, better us we do, they can go to hell!

"Further, they are not even our member, the competition will go on without them, we do not need them!."

The first match will be between Libya and Tanzania in Machakos at 2.00pm, followed by that of Kenya against Rwanda.
