While RSL picked up an extra point by defeating Club America on penalties following a 2-2 draw over the weekend, San Luis were subjected to a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Portland Timbers in their opening game of the tournament.

The Leagues Cup match between Real Salt Lake and Atletico de San Luis will be played at America First Field in Sandy, Utah.
It will kick off at 6:30 pm PT / 9:30 pm ET on Saturday, August 2, in the US.

Manager Pablo Mastroeni will be without the services of Javain Brown, Mason Stajduhar and Zac MacMath on account of injury issues.
Diego Luna and William Agada were on the scoresheet last time out and will be expected to lead the attack once again.

Atleti de San Luis head coach Guille Abascal will not be able to call upon the services of Franck Boli due to a thigh injury.
Given the disappointing set of results of late, Abascal might opt for a few rotations, possibly bringing in João Pedro up front.
The likes of Eduardo Aguila and Benjamin Galdames will keep their places at the back and in midfield, respectively.
