Hoffenheim host Lyon at the SNP Arena in Sinsheim in the Europa League, with Christian Ilzer's side desperate to arrest a damaging run of results on home soil.
Hoffenheim arrive at this fixture in poor shape. Four defeats from their last five matches across the Bundesliga and Europa League have left them placed 30th in the Europa League table, and the pressure on Ilzer's squad to produce a result is mounting with each passing week.
Lyon, managed by Paulo Fonseca, travel to Germany in a far more confident mood. The French side beat Crystal Palace 3-2 in their most recent Europa League outing, with goals from Corentin Tolisso, Ernest Nuamah, and Pavel Sulc securing victory at the Groupama Stadium despite a spirited second-half fightback from the Eagles.
That win, combined with a 2-1 Ligue 1 victory over Nice, has given Lyon real momentum heading into this fixture. Fonseca's side sit eighth in the Europa League standings — well clear of their hosts — and will arrive in Sinsheim with belief that they can extend their continental push.
For Hoffenheim, the SNP Arena represents their best opportunity to turn the tide. A home crowd could prove decisive for a side that badly needs a positive result to stay within reach of the qualification places.

How to watch on the Big Screen
Watching on your phone or laptop is fine, but live sports belongs on the big screen. Here is how to get the VPN working on your TV:
- Smart TVs & Fire Stick: Most Android-based TVs and devices like the Amazon Fire TV Stick or Google Chromecast with Google TV have native VPN apps. Simply search for your VPN provider in the app store on your TV, log in, and connect just like you would on your phone.
- Apple TV, Roku & Consoles: These devices often don't support direct VPN apps. The easiest workaround is to use Smart DNS (usually found in your VPN account settings) or Mirror/Cast the stream from your VPN-connected phone or laptop to your TV.
