TEAM NEWS: Gotze starts in attack for Germany against Ukraine
Joachim Low has decided to pick Mario Gotze in attack for Germany's Euro 2016 opener against Ukraine.
Thomas Muller, Mesut Ozil and Julian Draxler are also picked from the start, while Sami Khedira partners Toni Kroos in the holding midfield area.
The coach favours the Bayern Munich star to lead the attack over Mario Gomez, who will start from the bench.
Gotze's movement as 'false 9' were favoured to Gomez's skills in the area as a traditional centre-forward.
As expected Mats Hummels was the only player unavailable for Low, as he recovers from a calf injury.
