Callum Hudson-Odoi is odds-on to stay at Chelsea after his potential transfer to Bayern Munich looks to be on hold despite the German club reportedly matching the Blues’ £35 million asking price for the winger.
William Hill make it 8/11 (1.73) that the 18-year-old stays at the Blues until at least the summer, when Hudson-Odoi would enter the final 12 months of his current contract.
It is 11/10 (2.10) that he moves to Bayern, who will hope he has the same effect as fellow English wingers Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson.
GettyBoth those players have earned plaudits the Bundesliga since moving there, with Sancho joining Borussa Dortmund and Nelson playing at Hoffenheim on loan from Arsenal.
Hudson-Odoi would provide the perfect replacement for Arjen Robben, whose contract expires in summer, and give Bayern a new lease of life as they chase a seventh straight league title.
Niko Kovac’s side sit six points behind Borussia Dortmund after 18 games and both teams are 10/11 (1.91) with William Hill to be crowned champions of the Bundesliga.

However, the Champions League could also be a priority for Bayern. Despite reaching the semi-finals in seven of the last nine editions, they have only won the tournament once in that time and are 11/1 (12.0) to win it this season.
Kovac’s side play last season’s finalists Liverpool in the last 16 but are currently Even money (2.0) outsiders to reach the quarter-finals, although the signing of Hudson-Odoi could change that.
In fact, Liverpool’s odds to sign Hudson-Odoi have been slashed from 33/1 (34.0) to 12/1 (13.0) after the Reds reportedly held talks with his agent earlier this month.
Those odds do suggest that the Reds signing him is still unlikely though, especially as Chelsea may be unwilling to sell to another Premier League team.
