Fans urged to rally behind Bandari on KPL kick-off

Bandari kick off the 2017 Kenya Premier League season with a tie against newly promoted Nakumatt on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at KPA Mbaraki Sports club as from 3:00pm.

Technical Director Edward Oduor has challenged Coast fans to turn up in large numbers and cheer up the team. He says the team represents the Coast region and urged fans to physically turn.

"I wish to appeal to soccer lovers in the entire coast province to show patriotism and turn up in large numbers to cheer up the team. Bandari is the pride of Coast and the boys need your morale support."

Oduor also lauded the new coach Paul Nkata who has managed to blend youth and experience in the team.

"Nkata brings a wealth of experience in the team having won the KPL title with Tusker last season and we hope this achievement will be replicated here. Since his arrival, we have seen positive progress and players have adapted his philosophy. We look forward to good results,’’ he told Goal.

Bandari completed at the 11th position on the league log last season.
