Enhanced World Cup odds: 28/1 on Brazil to beat Belgium

Brazil are favourites to get the better of Belgium in their World Cup quarter final clash in Kazan.

As frontrunners to go all the way in Russia, it's of no suprise to see Tite's side priced at around 23/20 (2.15) to come out on top in normal time.

Those odds might be tempting enough considering Brazil's performances so far, but new Coral customers can take a much bigger price on the Selecao.

Perhaps the most compelling factor for backing the South Americans is their staunch defence. The 1-1 draw against Switzerland on matchday one was the last time they conceded and have since gone on to win each of their three games by a 2-0 score line.

That has got to be a concern for a Belgium side that have been exposed defensively by Tunisia and Japan, both of whom struck twice against the Red Devils albeit in losing causes.

While Roberto Martinez can call upon plenty of attacking talent, their defensive frailties are sure to be tested here, more so than any of their previous matches in Russia to date.

This is no easy game for Brazil, as evidenced by their odds-against quotes from the bookmakers but there is plenty to like about a team that have been so efficient and seem to be getting better with each performance.

Given how many opportunities Japan were able to carve out in the last 16, if Belgium fall behind they might not be able to instigate another comeback as easily as they did in the previous round. Furthermore, Brazil's pace on the break means they're perfectly set up to expose their opponents even further if they're forced to push forward at any stage.

Getting 28/1 (29.0) about a side that are usually 23/20 (2.15) is sure to tempt punters who are yet to register with Coral ahead of what is sure to be an entertaining World Cup quarter final on Friday night.
